Each tournament organizer will be responsible for their entire group for the duration of their stay at Scenic Woods Golf & Country Club. Please inform all tournament players of the following:

Soft Spikes:

All players must have proper footwear. We are a soft spike only facility. Shoes which have flat soles, such as running shoes or sneakers will also be permitted!

Damage:

Your group must pay for any damages caused by your group, whether deliberate or accidental. Please ensure all players, especially any invited guests who are not employees of your company abide by all the rules set out. Any person operating a power cart in any manner, which is careless, or with malice will lose their privileges immediately and the tournament group will pay for any damages incurred. The person will be asked to leave immediately, and no refunds will be given.

Speed of Play:

Please be aware of the length of time it takes to play 18 holes. With larger groups, the time needed may be longer than 4 hours, but the time taken to play should never exceed 5 hours. When inclement weather arises, these time parameters may change. In most instances, there will be green fee players or members following your group. These players expect to play in a reasonable amount of time and with your cooperation and the help of the course marshals and starters we should be able to keep everyone happy.

Dress Code:

Players are requested to wear proper golf attire whenever on golf course property. Slacks or proper golf shorts and golf shirts for the gentlemen. Slacks, golf skirt or proper golf shorts for the ladies. Tank tops, muscle shirts, numbered football, hockey or baseball jerseys are not permitted. Neither are halter tops nor tube tops. Golf shorts must be proper length. No gym shorts, short shorts, cut offs etc. Shorts should have pockets and a zipper. Sweat suits and rugger type pants are not acceptable. Golf shoes or running shoes worn with socks are the only acceptable footwear. Blue jeans may be worn but must be neat.

Caddies & Spectators:

Are not permitted. Every person on the golf course must have green fee and a set of clubs.

Etiquette:

Players are requested to fix ball marks, replace divots and rake bunkers. Please fix your ball mark, and one more to ensure a smooth putting surface.

Power Carts:

Please stay off mounding around greens and tees. Please use cart paths wherever possible. Two riders per cart only. Violators will lose cart privileges. No Refunds.

Course Marshall:

The marshal is patrolling the golf course to maintain fast orderly play. Please co-operate with him.

The lounge, restaurant, practice areas, pro shop and locker rooms are all open to guests. The staff is here to serve you, if they can help you in any way, please feel free to ask. Have a nice day and a fine round.
